Directions & Parking

RiverScape MetroPark is located in Downtown Dayton at 111 E. Monument Avenue between Patterson Boulevard and N. Jefferson Street. Please note that Patterson Boulevard, Monument Avenue, and St. Clair Street will be closed during the United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival.

The Greater Dayton RTA will be offering free shuttle service again this year. Attendees are encouraged to park at the Transportation Center Garage at 101 E. Fifth Street or the Riebold Garage at 117 S. Main Street (enter from W. Fifth St.) and look for the shuttle stop signs at street level. Each garage charges a fee to park, but the shuttle ride to the festival is free.

RTA buses will operate in a continuous loop north on Jefferson, west on Monument, south on Ludlow and east on 5th Street. The bus will take a small loop around Bainbridge, Hugo, Wayne Avenue, and travel back onto Fifth. Several temporary bus stops will be located all along the shuttle route; festival goers will only have to wait a few minutes at a stop to catch the next bus with the Celtic Fest window card and “shuttle’ on the destination sign.

The hours of operation for the RTA shuttle are Friday, 5:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.; Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.; Sunday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. All shuttle service will continue each night until the last customer is picked up.

The parking garage on Main Street (110 N Main Street) will be open with a $3 per vehicle/per day charge. Other parking options downtown can be found at the Downtown Dayton Partnership.

The parking meters on the perimeter of the festival grounds will be designated as handicapped parking. Additional Handicap parking is available in the Water Street Parking Garage located at 403 Water Street just off East Monument Ave near Fifth Third Baseball Field.
